My projected regular season order of finish.
| # | Team | |
| 1. | LA Lakers | With Bynum back, this team will be unstopable. |
| 2. | Cleveland Caveliers | Lebron was one game away from bringing the Cavs (the Cavs!) to the finals again. The Celtics will slip aloowing him to do it this year. |
| 3. | New Orleans Hornets | CP3 + Tyson Chandler + David West = SW Division Champs |
| 4. | Utah Jazz | Consistency is the name of their game, they'l be able to dominate home court to get them the number 4 spot. |
| 5. | Boston Celtics | Playing over 100 games will wear on a team with Allen, KG, and Pierce. They still have Allen, KG, and Pierce, and play in the East, which should give them the 5 spot |
| 6. | San Antonio Spurs | They're getting old and broken down, but still good enough to beat any team in the league |
| 7. | Orlando Magic | Incredible run at the end of last year, their chemistry is coming together. Dwight Howard will be the most dominant big man in the East. |
| 8. | Detroit Pistons | New Coach, new season, same winning formula. Their starting 5 is still the best 'team'. |
| 9. | Houston Rockets | If Yao and McGrady can stay healthy, then they could be even higher than this. But when is the last time both played 70+ games in the same season |
| 10. | Portland Trail Blazers | My sleeper pick with their ridiculous amount of young talent. They almost made the playoffs last year with Greg Oden, who people forget is going to be a future hall of famer. |

I can't believe I haven't commented on this either. I think you are bugging if you think Cleveland will finish ahead of half of those teams. I mean I love Lebo like everyone else but I don't think they'll be #1 in the East or top 3 in the league. I like the portland pick and i agree- boston will slip. Detroit will finish ahead of orlando... I like chicago and philly to make a run this year...New Orleans will be tough but not that high. Overall this is a solid list though
