My husband and I are modern day pioneers, we live 100% off grid in a cabin we built ourselves. We generate all of our own electricity, haul our water, grow a lot of our own food. This isn't a "green" thing, we aren't doing this because it's the in thing to do, we are doing this because we want to. :)
