Criminally underrated and profoundly misperceived, due to being singled out by the media and people not giving his films a chance. Like every single actor that has ever existed he has made a few bad films, but he has also created some remarkable films, including two legendary and iconic characters. He has proven time and time again that he can hold his own with the best of the best in meaty, dramatic roles where he has delivered some powerful performances, and he has also made some of the best action films ever made. A truly diverse, underappreciated, and multifaceted artist who I hope gets the respect some day that he so deserves.
