The thrill of flying is somewhat diminished in these heightened security times - with the queues at security, removing shoes and all metal objects and making sure you have no hazardous materials, but nothing beats arriving at a truly magnificent airport. Whether it is seeing a magnificent metropolis lit up at night, flying through some of nature's most magnificent sights or reaching a little bit of paradise on a small island.
