Aromi d’Italia
Miracle Mile Shops, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 / 702-696-0181
This spacious gelateria and eatery is a popular place to gather for quick bites and quick meals. Among breakfast favorites are bagels and croissants with an array of toppings and accompaniments, such as bacon and eggs. Soup is served in cups, bowls and hollowed-out bread loaves. Salads include Caesar and chicken with pineapple and walnuts. Among paninis on focaccia, Italian roll or wheat bread, we like the Toscano---roasted red peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce and provolone cheese topped with pesto, olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Spinach or meat lasagna is served with focaccia; pizzas and wraps are also winners. Milk shakes, smoothies, specialty coffees and soft drinks nicely complement the fare. Save room for a cannoli, tiramisu or banana split, and, of course, the gelato.
