THE TOP TEN ILHM's Top Ten Werewolf Films
I have always been a huge fan of the werewolf film, with many fond memories of The Wolf Man playing late nights on Nickelodeon and catching An American Werewolf in London (oddly enough) on Comedy Central. There is something primal and cerebral about the werewolf that I have always identified with over the sexual overtones of the vampire or the social and politically charged zombie films. Unfortunately, as technology continues to improve, providing us with a cyber world that nearly mirrors our own, we are starting to see a decline in the art and craftsmanship that truly terrified us as kids and young adults in place of computerized monsters that lack that inherent humanistic qualities that only a live actor can provide.

All that being said, ILHM would like to take a look back at the werewolf films that had a lasting effect on the horror genre! The films are rated by personal preference and film quality, but naturally there will be much debate over which is the superior film, so take this as a subjective opinion.
