Work-at-home "Processing emails" jobs that requires you to pay upfront for a "membership" site.

Phishing Emails asking you Security Questions in attempt to Hack your email account.

Fake Cheques with "excessive money" sent to you (for some internet job done). You're asked to send YOUR cheque back to "refund" difference only to find later that the cheque you received is an invalid or bounced cheque.

Business Loan Scams where you're required to pay for registration or administration fees first. The loan never comes and you do not get back your money.

Friendship, Dating/Marriage Swindles. They ask for money to apply for passports etc (so "I can fly over to visit my sweetheart!") This scam affects both male and females.

Internet Auctions whereby more than 1 bidder's money is accepted because "the highest bidder before you did not pay up". None of the bidders get their goods after paying online.

Illegal Gambling or Lottery Ticket Buying Clubs. You can gamble all you want - you never win as online "number" games are always programmed to win (and you lose).

Business Opportunities, Franchise-related or Distributorship scams. Either you never get what you paid for or the contract does not operate as stated in such a way the "deal" turns out as not what you expected.

Nigerian Money Offers (not prizes) usually for a favour done (for eg. helping the person to get her late husband's inheritance and promising you a cut for the favour done; usually you are requested to send banking fees Nigerian "widow" cannot afford.

General physical merchandise where they do not ship outside of a certain country and do not refund monies paid. Or they never ship out the goods.
