1--all bloggers are up-front and honest (sometimes brutally honest) about their financial situations and problems, 2--the sites are basic and unimposing (a few have ads, most don't) from real people, and 3--they publicly sidebar or blog about actual debt amounts or savings goals or list their personal NetWorthIQs.
