My projected regular season order of finish.
1
New York Yankees
Any team that has a total salary of $209 million is a clear favorite to be #1.
2
New York Mets
They had a decent season last year, but it ended in disappointment at the hands of the Marlins, but with their bullpen improvements and some of the best hitters in the NL, they should make the playoffs.
3
Boston Red Sox
Look for the Bo Sox to rebound this year and setup another classic ALCS with the Yankees.
4
Chicago Cubs
I'm hesitant to put them in my top ten, but I think that their starting ptching will get them a lot of 1 run wins this year. It's really up to their shaky bullpen to preserve their narow leads.
5
Los Angeles Dodgers
They have the benefit of having Manny for the entire season and playing in the NL Worst.
6
Philadelphia Phillies
The defending champs will have another easy road to the playoffs, and they only got better signing Raul Ibanez in the off-season.
7
Los Angeles Angels
They may have lost K-Rod to the Met's but the top of their lineup includes Figgins, Hendrick, Abreu, Guerrero, and Hunter.
8
St. Louis Cardinals
One word: Pujols. Let's not forget that they won in all in 2006, and with a healthy Chris Carpenter, they should be poised to dominate a weak NL Central.
9
Atlanta Braves
Vastly improved pitching and some hotshot young players balance out the older veterans
10
Oakland Athletics
This is my sleeper pick. After back to back losing seasons, they should rebound as statistics of 3 losing seasons in a row doesn't fit into the money ball calculations.
