It doesn't matter what makes you throw up as much as it matters where. A toilet is probably the preferred place, followed by outside in some bushes.

I think the refrigerator would be up there on the list. Maybe less private,unless it was your friends date`s refrigerator at work.

on a rollercoaster and in a plane are acceptable i think. in a pool and in an elevator are not

I feel like on a date would be worse than on a friend, because you've already built up a foundation of understanding with a friend that can withstand a vomit episode. This may not be the case with a date.
Another couple I would add to the mix: "in a plane" and "on stage." The latter could really be a whole sub-genre: "on stage during a high school play," "on stage during a professional public speaking scenario," etc.

Speaking from experience ( A good friend of mine threw up on my girlfriend once), on a friend is the worst
